"This is a highly creative
project which utilises technology to link Police and other
safety professionals with children in active learning role
plays. Through the exercises pupils are brought face to face
with real life scenarios and have an opportunity to engage
with professionals in real time. The project strengthens the
citizenship curriculum in schools and has afforded Police
Services such as ours a wonderful way to reach hundreds of
schools in one morning. Having visited the project and seen
at first hand the impact that this activity has on both children,
teachers and police teams, I am enormously impressed with
Childnet for developing this project in partnership with Cambridgeshire
Police and Education professionals and I hope that the project
can expand."
