I thought that it was fun and if I could go on it again I would. I have learnt that if you don’t steal from the shop and get someone else to do it you will still get in trouble.
I thought that the shop thief was fun we caught all the people like Cheryl and Craig Anderson. We had to write police messages and they would write back in about 10 minutes to give us clues. If we wanted to arrest them for stealing then they would arrest them for us.
The one thing that I enjoyed the most about the shop thief is that we got to solve a crime and it feels like you’re in a police station. I also enjoyed the tension of the text. We were getting more information and I helped us to figure out the crime. It was pretty hard but it was worth the while. So if I had the chance to go back on the website I would.
I thought the activity was really fun because you got to help out the police and got to solve crimes. It was also fun because you kept on having police officers sending you clues and information. I learnt that you don’t have to go into shops to steal so that’s when bullying other children to do it comes in. The information we got was really good and useful. We eventually caught the criminals and then we arrested them.
I thought that the program was fun and I liked typing on the computer. If I could I would have a go on it again. I learnt that if you get other people to steal for you, you could still get in bad trouble by the police. I also learnt that you don’t always have to do what other people tell you to do.
I liked it because it was fun and I liked solving the problems. Also it gave me a chance to work as a team. If I could change any thing I would like the computer to respond quicker.
I enjoyed net detectives because it gave me a chance to work as a team and fell like a police officer.
If I could change 1 thing I’ll have 1 school go on it at a time to make them respond faster.
I learnt that you can still get arrested even though you made someone else do it.
If had the chance to do shop thief again I would because the writing was clear and it was fun writing letters to lots of different people on the web. It would be better to do it one school at a time though because then you would get the messages back faster.
Mr Rix I really enjoyed net-detectives because it was challenging and it was really fun. I also enjoyed working as a team. It was a great experience but if I came on it again I would maybe like it to be a real crime for us to solve with the real police. Also I think it would be good if only one school went on at a time because then your messages get through quicker. But it would be bad if only one school went on because you get information from other schools/children.
